NASCAR Cup Series No. 66 team enters Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville
STATESVILLE, N.C. (May 26, 2026) – Chad Finchum will make his next start in the NASCAR Cup Series this Sunday, May 31 at Nashville Superspeedway, where he will drive the No. 66 Garrison Homes / Armbridge Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Garage 66 in the Cracker Barrel 400. Additional support will be provided by Ted Russell Ford Knoxville, Elite Petroleum, MeatAndCheeseHead.com, and Coble Enterprises.
The 31-year-old pilot from Knoxville, Tennessee will be running his fourth premier series points race of the season, already a personal-high mark in his NASCAR Cup journey. He achieves it well in advance of reaching the halfway point of this year’s racing calendar, which promises more opportunity.
“I am super excited to get back behind the wheel of the No. 66 at Nashville Superspeedway this weekend,” said Finchum, who will be competing at the facility for the fourth time in his Cup career, most of any circuit.
“Nashville is a really special track to me because it is where I made my NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen debut, and honestly, it is probably the track where I have logged the most laps in this car. If there is a place where I feel like we can unload with confidence and be competitive, it’s Nashville. Being able to race in my home state always means a little more, too — it feels like defending home turf.”
“We have an incredible group of partners on board for this weekend, including longtime supporters Garrison Homes, Elite Petroleum, and Ted Russell Ford Knoxville, along with new partner Armbridge making their debut with me and Garage 66 in the NASCAR Cup Series. We are also excited to announce a new partnership with MeatAndCheeseHead.com joining the program.”
“This weekend will also carry a lot of emotion for all of us in the garage area, and for me especially, as it will be my first race since the passing of fellow NASCAR driver Kyle Busch. Our thoughts and prayers are with Kyle’s family, friends, and everyone affected by this loss. We’ll be racing with heavy hearts this weekend, and we’re racing for Kyle.”
Garage 66 co-owner Carl Long echoed Chad’s comments on his and the team’s experience at Nashville, as this will be the third consecutive year of this combination on the 1.33-mile concrete oval.
“It is great to have more new brands advertising with Garage 66, especially at a track we know well,” said Long. “We had the car driving well for Chad last year in the later stages of the race. This year is a different aero package though, so I am hoping we still have the car dialed in. It is a huge challenge racing against competitors that have countless hours of simulator data at their disposal, when we do not, but as always, we’ll give it our best shot.”
Amazon’s Prime Video will carry streaming coverage of all NASCAR Cup Series track activity this weekend. Practice for the Cracker Barrel 400 is scheduled for late Saturday afternoon, May 30, beginning at 4:30 pm ET. Qualifying follows immediately at 5:40 pm ET. The 300-lap race gets underway on Sunday, May 31 at 7 pm ET.
