National grilling company to join Motorsports Business Management for virtual Bristol Motor Speedway

PHOENIX (April 3, 2020) – Pit Boss Grills, one of the fastest-growing grill brands in the industry, is excited to again partner with Motorsports Business Management (MBM Motorsports) #66 Toyota and driver Timmy Hill. The difference between this agreement and past agreements with MBM Motorsports is that Pit Boss Grills will sponsor the virtual #66 that will be competing this Sunday from the virtual Bristol Motor Speedway.

After the season was brought to an abrupt halt on March 15 due to the COVID-19 virus, the NASCAR world has shifted to virtual events at virtual tracks that coincide with the original NASCAR schedule so fans are still able to come together and enjoy their favorite sport.

Some of the series top drivers, including Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Denny Hamlin, got together with the idea of bringing iRacing to national television. Fox Sports jumped on board and what quickly evolved was the eNASCARiRacing Pro Invitational Series. Last week’s event from the virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway, which was won by MBM Motorsports driver Timmy Hill, was watched in 1.6 million homes and broke the record for the most-watched Esports event, which was set the weekend before at the virtual Atlanta Motor Speedway.

“Pit Boss is thrilled to be partnering with Timmy on the iRacing event this weekend,” said Jeff Thiessen, president of Pit Boss Grills. “We are extremely proud to be part of something that is bringing people together during this time of social distancing,” Thiessen continued, “Good food, family and faith will see us through.”

Timmy Hill, 27, from Port Tobacco, Md. is ranked #1 in the eNASCARiRacing Pro Invitational Series and is looking to back up last week’s win with another this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

“I’m super happy to have Pit Boss Grills add on more races with us!” said Hill, “I have been cooking some killer meals on my Pit Boss Grill. Hopefully, I can win again this week and celebrate with a grilling out party!”
